Lego in Gembrookbrick! (A Lego fan event)
There are lots of fun things planned for the day, and we hope you can come!
DATE: Sunday 1st of September
TIME: 10am – 2.30 pm
WHERE: Gembrook Community Centre, corner of Gembrook Road and East Beenak Road (behind the Gembrook skate park). Google Maps: 4 Gembrook Road, Gembrook.
There will be competitions and raffles on the day, as well as an opportunity to display your builds, or enter specific builds in a competition.

Entry to this event is by gold coin donation.
STALLHOLDERS:
If you are interested in being a stallholder, your registration link is here:
Stallholders can be Lego related businesses or just families/kids who want to sell their own Lego OR display their other builds (or both?). Duplo is also welcome to the day. You will be notified prior to the event if you can have a stall. Payment needs to be made on the day for stall spaces.
Stallholders need to be selling Lego-related or inspired items.
BUILDING COMPETITIONS:
There will be three competitions on the day, where you can build something at home, and enter it to bring it along on the day to display. There will be two prizes awarded on the day per category – a “people’s choice” award, and one judged by The Brick Boy without a Beard himself.
These competition themes are:
- Tallest tower
- A Vehicle
- An animal

OTHER ACTIVITIES ON THE DAY:
Lego speed builds
Building a Lego set in the shortest time (build has to be exactly as instructed). These will be grouped in age categories:
5-8 years old ($2 entry)
9-12 years old ($5 entry)
13-16 years old ($5 entry)
17+ years old ($5 entry).
Guess the number of Lego bricks in the jar
(to win the jar of Lego bricks).
Cake stall
(with a free sweet treat for all dads upon arrival (it is your day after all!))
Lego displays and People’s choice awards
Stalls with Lego and Lego related items!
